Tiny moments!

Ever notice how we get uncomfortable talking about our success. I have been observing myself lately and realized how much joy we allow the enemy to steal from us because of the fear of looking like a show off. I was congratulating a friend who recently got engaged about how beautiful her ring was and all she could talk about was how she had burnt her hand baking. I would not have noticed the burn marks had she not mentioned them, my focus was on the ring. She is not the first and will not be the last. I remember when I started singing in church, I wasn't working and didn't have the wardrobe to be formally dressed every Sunday. I used to wear my mother's clothes and each time I received a compliment about my dress I would mention that it actually was not mine, but belonged to my mother. I had difficulty accepting the compliment like my recently engaged friend. I had to find something wrong with the picture. It couldn't be as good as it looked. ...
